Anyone can help me please in regards oilway from feed pump to oil filter chamber. Just curious how to oil flowing from feed pump to oil filter chamber cause i didn’t found that oilway in timing cover and oil filter chamber. Refer to oilway schematic which drew oil flowing from feed pump to oil filter before goes to crank case.
There is small hole behind oil pump chamber (picture attached, in red circle) but it has stuck in oil chamber.
The problem was began from oil flow to rocker just flowing for minute without air bubble after motorcycle parked for few days and oil will flowing again after i stop a engine for few hours but it just flowing for 30 second without air bubble.
Thank you and really appreciate for your help.

Hi, The feed side will feed continually, the oil to the rockers is fed from the scavenge pump and will initially be continuous until the sump is emptied and will then contain bubbles. This is how it should work. Vince

Hi Vince
Thank you for your information, really appreciate. Anyway, do you know how oil from feed pump circulate to oil filter chamber?

Hi, oil is picked up from the tank via passages which cross joint face of the cover by the pump and enters the filter chamber through a hole by the base of the long stud. The oil goes from inside the filter passes through the felt element and exits via a hole which is visible if you remove the hexagonal in the middle of the timing cover and then by the quill to the big end. The returning oil is taken by the pump up to the rockers then drain down to the inside of the timing cover and then via a weir back to the tank. Think of it as the heart pumping blood around a body. Vince Ps the screw in the photo is a blanking plug. ;)

Hi Vince
Good news but unfortunately the hole is deadend, i was tried using small a steel wire to find out the passages but it not yet found. Is it will help to find the passages if the stud bolt in the middle of oil chamber take out?

Hi , with the pump innards in place an oilcan in the hole in your first photo and it should blow that muck out. The galleries run horizontal from pump, vertical to that plug horizontal to oil filter. With the pump innards removed you can follow sequence by pumping oil into the hole at the timing cover face, the oil will come out of two holes in pump. The other two holes go to filter. Vince .
