I think it will be as others have mentioned, and a number of these used ones for sale by the dealers are ex demos or are simply from upgrading to another bike. You may find that a lot of the owners who buy their bikes brand new do not want the hassle of selling privately when its easier to just trade in against something new when they are ready for change. I would not be looking at it as a concern either way, as the bikes in general seem to be very well received and are getting great reviews from owners. I think with the simplicity of the bikes and the value for money that's offered, its very hard to beat.
Mark, I believe the 535 Continental GT has not been in production for some time now, I do see there are a number of new ones still available at dealers but assume these are just late registered bikes.
