I fancy taking my very ordinary Classic EFI round a race circuit, but am wary about getting in the way of fast stuff. Put it this way, my last track day was at Oulton Park in 1974 on a Norton Commando - very, very, different times! My Classic has free flow exhaust and silencer, and has been modified to increase ground clearance but is still embarrassingly slow - is this just wishful thinking on the part of a silly old git?
