i have a indian 350 classic enfield year 2000 and i am looking to fit a 3o psi oil pressure relief valve to the side of my Samarat Rocket assembley as i have high capacity oil pumps . the reason for this is i have 85 psi of oil pressure when starting from cold which has caused a oil pump spindle failure causing big end damage which has been repaired my myself . the pressure relief valve i am looking to fit is air type with a ring pull on the top so venting the excess oil onto the top of cylinder head , your thoughts.
The bike already has a relief valve on the crankshaft found when stripped down the crankcase when renewning big end.
i know our hosts sell one but i wish to keep the look of my bike the same e.g same tappet cover .
please give me your thoughts
