Hi everyone at RE ownners club.
I am working on my RE Crusader sport 1959 and i cant find anything in the workshop manual on the set up for the tension on the springs, if you bolt it up all the way you cant pull the clutch lever in because the pressure plate is up against the plate that holds the three bolts and the six springs are fully compressed.
Is there a set distance for this or is it slacken off until the clutch slips and then adjust the three bolts until the plates are compressed so the clutch stops slipping?
Regards
