Hi all,
Well I have just bought one, picked it up on Friday having part-exed my 2003 Bullet Clubman. As long as you can accept the limited performance I reckon it is a great little bike. It is certainly comfortable as I did just over 80 miles on Friday with no issues whatsoever and did a further 50 this morning - much, much better than the Clubman! As for vibrations, yes at 4,000rpm plus it is noticeable, but this is about 65 mph so not an issue outside of motorways where you would spend more time at these and higher revs but this is not a motorway bike, it is a British A and B road bike and it is really nice for that. As long as it proves reliable and the build quality is OK (and I have to say there are a couple of worries there with some obviously poorly protected wiring and connectors) I think it will be a great success for Enfield. I have had a modern Triumph Bonnie and Thruxton and it is nicer to ride than these in my opinion, although obviously a lot slower.
If you are interested - find a dealer and get a decent test ride, don't rely on magazine reviews.
