Hi guys----------- just to re-iterate, the filter shown on my Bullet has been in service now for over a year = 3,500 mile approx. and has never given the slightest bit of trouble,---honestly !!- PAT, can you post a photo of the filter you have fitted ??.... BTW, mine only fills up to about halfway at best...I do give it the occasional "flik" with my fingertip which adds a bit more, but not much..I have similar "in-line" filters on my 1975 GL1000 Goldwing, CB400 Hondamatic, and various 50cc Terror-Rad bikes and ALL run perfectly ok.....Be wary of the cheapie paper element type( as sold at shows etc)--I had one where the rear face of the filtering element was breaking up---and the next stop was the primary jets in the Carb !! Very frustrating when trying to fault-find and you've just fitted this new filter--so it can't be that at fault, can it ????? LoL !! Go for the metal strainer type instead.
