Hi All
2004 500 Bullet 65 8,000 Miles
Over a period I seem to have lost most of my compression. Fairly hard to start but once running power is still there. Still no compression starting when warm, but still OK when running.
So I bit the bullet and took the head off.
This is what my exhast valve looked like……
If you can see it what are these little blobs of metal embedded in the seat of the valve?
If this pic does not show on this site I shall try and explain what you could see.
No pic. So,Around the edge of the valve where it seals onto the seat are about 5 blobs about 1mm diameter wealded onto the seat for about a quarter of the way round. These obviously hold the valve open. Why, How, Any answers please.
Cheers Fred
PS How do you put pics on this site?
