I don't like it much, the Watsonian versions were better. The Redditch bikes looked much nicer than either of them in my opinion! However, good luck to Enfield, I suppose they need to keep the EFI engined models fresh to sustain sales now the Twins are out? Incidentally, I was just in Mumbai/Bombay for a week and only saw one Himalayan. Maybe this new machine will sell well in the Home Market.

I like the mudguard stays. I don't like the rear subframe. I'd have probably used different handlebars on a trials version, maybe with a small brace in there.

Exhaust header pipe runs under the engine, which seems an odd choice.

Yes Redditch bikes looks better. Are you doing any bullet parts/project shopping from india. ?

if i were to do buy the bike . i will do below mods.
> Change the front wheel to 21

> put trials tyres. 4.0x 18 , 21 x 2.75

> put trials alloy mudguards

> remove the racks , may be put old bullet tank , solo saddle

> put high level exhaust
i like old swing arm.

different bars, junk the sub frame and fit traditional hoops and mudguards and would be more of a winner in my eyes, looks like a parts bin special to me, Baak motorcycles in France did a better job

in the latest vids RE have posted on line they have run a "trial" (in the loosest sense of the word as its more of kids a Sunday scramble ) somewhere in India which just shows the inadequate ground clearance to be a full trials bike,
