I don't like it much, the Watsonian versions were better. The Redditch bikes looked much nicer than either of them in my opinion! However, good luck to Enfield, I suppose they need to keep the EFI engined models fresh to sustain sales now the Twins are out? Incidentally, I was just in Mumbai/Bombay for a week and only saw one Himalayan. Maybe this new machine will sell well in the Home Market.
I like the mudguard stays. I don't like the rear subframe. I'd have probably used different handlebars on a trials version, maybe with a small brace in there.
Exhaust header pipe runs under the engine, which seems an odd choice.
different bars, junk the sub frame and fit traditional hoops and mudguards and would be more of a winner in my eyes, looks like a parts bin special to me, Baak motorcycles in France did a better job
in the latest vids RE have posted on line they have run a "trial" (in the loosest sense of the word as its more of kids a Sunday scramble ) somewhere in India which just shows the inadequate ground clearance to be a full trials bike,
