Yes, check through with a multimeter at every connector before spending money.

So what I ended up doing was spraying electrical contact cleaner on the voltage regulator plug and she fired straight up. Not saying that's the end all be all. I will continue to monitor.. Still looking for a five pin voltage regulator..

Any signs of arcing across the spade connectors within the reg/rec connecting block or the loom connecting block ?

Hi, this is my experience. I've been struggling with my Indian Bullet's electrics for a couple of years. Now and then I would burn fuses, bulbs, bulb holders and finally short-circuit the battery and get a lorry to go back home. So I bought a new battery, fully charge it and put it in place. After a couple of days (didn't use the bike, in the meantime), the battery was discharged. So I checked for a parasitic battery drainage, and found out the regulator was absorbing A 0.6. Put a new spare in place: same story.
Buying a Boyer's Power Box was the end of the nightmare, and the bike's now working like a Swiss watch.
