Two ways of telling an ABS model, if you look thru the engine behind the starter motor, if its abs you will see black abs unit, if no abs you will see strait thru no black unit. also on the front and rear wheels there will be abs rotas on the discs, non abs will only have disc. And I agree about buying a low mileage used, There are some cracking deals on E BAY with low mileage, A bike that's done a 1,000 mls has had its first service and is nearly run in.

No messing about.Just ask which euro model is it, and how long he's had it, and what's the vin number.Hes got to let you know that.I have no hesitation and I have done it in the past.Nothing I love better than pointing out to a dealer "I can get that bike cheaper elsewhere".

If you look at the front wheel, left side if sitting on the bike, then you will see a black wire sensor going to the hub ring if it has ABS.
