I found the enclosed underneath the Classic Trials…

I’m sure I’ve seen it before, possibly when I put the sump guard on?

Can anyone recognise?

May not be off the Enfield! But thought I’d check.

I’ve looked on the parts pages without luck.

Is it the bent remains of a W clip that holds the headlight unit into the rim?

Too thin for that...?
I think it's the wire clip that holds the headlight bulb in place...?
If its soft metal ? then it's an unbent paper clip.
It looks a bit out of shape though, someone been trying to pick a lock or bypass the ignition switch .

Thank you for the comments. As said I do seem to have a vague memory of this when I put the bash plate on. Pretty sure it is the same shape and not from the headlight - which I’ve not touched? As said may not even be off the Enfield

How about from a multipin electrical connector, some have a wire security clip that you pull up before you can pull the connector apart?
