Try Google Translate Adrian, worked for me.
It seems to me that the Beck is not compatible with our Dutch friends Enfiled and I do suggest that he follows Bullet Whisperer's advice - fit the points and stay with points.

That then narrows the problem down to the electronic ignition itself. Get the manufacturer to check it if it's still under warranty.

Refitting the points will at least give you a working bike, and if you do still want a more suitable electronic ignition for the Bullet, there are tried and tested alternatives available.

I've came o understand that the Boyer is sensitive for low battery.. the Germans are very happy with the - much more expensive Sachse, which has the opotion of selecting different curves.. are there more?

Ah yes:

I get the impression you prefer spending smaller amounts of money. ;)

The Boyer Bransden Mk4 kit is supposed to work better with lower voltages than previous versions.

I have also mentioned Pazon before, my fairly brief period with a Sure Fire on one of my bikes was happy enough, until I got the money for a magneto!

Two of my bikes now use the BTH electronic magneto, the FM1R. These need a bit of machining work to the flange to fit the Bullet crankcase but they have proved reliable so far. They are not cheap.

If you wanted a crankshaft-mounted CDI ignition for the Bullet which includes some lighting coils, Electrex World sell complete stator kits, the CDI ignition works without the battery, the lighting side can be used with or without a battery if you use a capacitor, though the lighting output isn't great.

There are others, I'm trying to think of the one which has all the TCI electronics built into the trigger unit which replaces the points, but the name escapes me. There is also the Wassell electronic ignition, but I would avoid those.

Don't forget there is the Indian made Eureka ignition for the Bullet, this still uses the mechanical advance and retard.

A good internet search will reveal others, I found an Australian-made kit which is probably very good, but shipping times and costs may put you off that option.

I had round three with the Bullet this afternoon , I set up the timing , moved the cam and points baseplate around and have the adjustment track near central , achieved a kick back several times but didn’t start . When I drew the cam off the taper I still had the backplate in situ , I’m wondering now if I should have removed it beforehand as when tightening back on the taper the cam moved clockwise just as it finally tightened it back on , this happened twice as I retraced my steps after the first time , I’m now wondering if the cam moved on the taper whilst tightening it or the movement was the advance /retard unit moving around ? I have an advance unit locking washer but am unsure how this is fitted , do you remove the baseplate and place it somehow over the advance mechanism to prevent its movement whilst tightening the cam retaining bolt ?
