Good afternoon all
Not been on here for a while, I have recently stripped down my engine on my 1991 Bullet 500 and found a small amount of damage to the front of the piston just in front of the valve cut out, I have spoken to a couple of people on other social sites and confirm I need to replace it, my question is what is the best most reliable standard size piston offered by our host's, I have looked at a few topics and some folk say the omega forged piston is quite noisy
What would you recommend
Many thanks Dave

I just built in the omega piston and it needs 0,11mm clearance, which is a lot!
Maybe hence the noise. (and noise means faster wear of the barrel?)
The workshop man needed to be convinced of this clearance, which is, according to his words 'worn out play'.

I did not know of this clearance, if had had known before, i would look for an alternative.
Does Jochen Sommer maybe have an alternative?
