Seems the 350 Meteor is coming to UK in 2021. I know that some information is circulating about this new model but not much on this site.
Does anyone have any idea of the expected price and when it may be here for sale?

But most of those posts are about what folk would buy INSTEAD of a Meteor!

I was after a bit more definite about the Meteor itself.
What I saw was that BHP and Torque are very much as was the old style 350 Bullet.
That's a bit disappointing.

Or maybe not - I guess all depends who is buying and how they are using the new bike.

It was easy to see that a multitude of other bikes would be at the forefront.
Apart from brand loyalty (which smacks of HD delusion) I can't see why people would delve any further.

But they say that pre-delivery orders have been very high.
One more detail I've picked up is that the 'kerb' weight is 191kg.
That's the same as a C5 500 Efi Classic.

That's ridiculous! A little bike like this should be 150kg max

It's £4000 for a new bike.
The engine is accessible, you are not removing 11 pieces of fairing to get to the engine.
It depends on what you want.
I wouldn't be on an RE site if I wanted sub 3 seconds standing quarter.
Older Japanese bikes don't have the parts backup; don't get me wrong, I like old Japanese bikes, I'm looking at some currently.

I like the rank accessibility. I cannot say rank simplicity anymore because of ABS, EFI etc.

It's a forum, people will always knock things. Honda Dominator, super bike, but it takes seven years to remove the carb unless you know the knack; not that I'm prone to exaggerate.

I think if it is the same price as the new Honda Bob Holness, then that would be the decision to make.

Accessibility? Only needed on a bike that goes wrong! You should sit beside me when I need to change the headlamp or speedo cable on my 1500 Wing luckily I've only had to change 2 lamps and 1 cable - not bad for a 1998 bike.

I'm on the RE forum because I have one - being on the forum has had a huge side effect though... I want rid of the bike. As much as I recognize that usually only people who have a problem post about their bike, the amount of these posts has put me right off.
I don't see many owners proudly stating they've covered 20'000 trouble free miles (something my old RG250 managed before needing pistons & rings... and I thrashed it, everywhere).

I love the look of my RE but would I ride it further than I could push it?

I could get the crankshaft out of my BMW K75S quicker than I could remove the battery.

Of my over 25 bikes in 50 years the biggest repair job I’ve ever needed to do was an alternator.
