Hi, I aquired a 1970 350 bullet a couple of months ago. A friend of mine had it since 1972. In 1974 it did the big end due probably to the quill seal falling apart. The people who rebuilt it did not have a clue and put it back together without a seal, hence it started making noises soon after. My friend put it away until I got it recently. Ok,that's the history. So now I am rebuilding it. The gasket kit arrived with a rubber quill seal that appears to sit proud of the worm bolt. This does not look right to me. Some on the forum here in Australia say it will squash in and be ok. As this is the cause of the rebuild I would obviously like to get this right. So I'm asking you gurus in the Mother country the correct method. Should be a photo attached.
