If you scroll down a bit on this site you can see what's inside the original Booster Plug black plastic box and how it's connected.

Thanks for the link.
That is exactly what I expected and what my idea was how that precious item works.

Tompas - thanks for the link.

I have made one and fitted to my Himalayan - basically just a B3950 10 K NTC Thermistor in series with the air intake temp sensor.

I found out about this from someone else who had used it with great success, as far as mine goes it seems to work well. Tickover is improved, bike is much smoother off the throttle, and it has not died on me once since fitting.

The random cutting out does cause me some concern, mainly from a safety standpoint, so if it only stops that I'll be happy.

The bike still pops a little but rather than on the overrun it now pops if you are going on / off the throttle a lot, so usually in urban areas.

Generally the bike feels as though it is running better, the only other mod it has is our hosts air delete kit fitted to it - that definatley is an improvement.

Not saying that my mod would work on all models as I would imagine ECUs are different / temp sensor resistances are probably different, just saying it seems to work with mine.

Where did you find this schematic if I may ask?
That was a really high total resistans 10k5 compared to mine total 3k6.
If that schematic is correct I can skip my 5k6 resistor and just have the 10k thermistor connected.
Maybe...

I bought and fitted the bosster plug and it transforms the bike, instant start from cold, no stalling, steady tick over, smooth low speed riding smother pick up on throttle, worth every penny..
Easy to fit, done in minutes. I put the sensor in the air intake trumpet to save instal time but may change it later..

Quick update,
I initially put the sensor into the air filter intake and it seemed to work fine, but on a long run it reduced effectiveness, I think it got slowly warmer. Moved it to just below the headstock and went on a 60mile run and it is great. I would highly recommend it. Just one problem the lead on the sensor is way to short and had to extend it as detailed in the instructions.
