I assume the rattle is produced by vibration at one or more of the fixing points. If so I would use a rubber washer either side of the fixing – not too soft or too hard. A fairly normal course I think with fitting screens or fairings.

Hi ,I had to do the opposite on my 250 Continental, the previous owner had fitted thin rubber/plastic washers between the screen and the ally speedo/rev counter housing which made it flex and produce a noise,by removing the washers and bolting direct to the ally housing, this solved the problem

I get that dalgrae. In that case the screen would need to be flush to the surface of the alloy top yoke. But that arrangement is unusual. In most cases the screen is fixed at 'points' not against a flat surface and in my experience most screens are fitted with vibration reducing 'soft' washers at those points.

I fitted the Hitchcocks tinted higher screen which is a lot thicker and I dont hear a thing. Maybe because I have bluetooth speakers in my helmet lol
