Where is the rubber stop ?
Is there more than one.

Ill have a look for it /them and hopefully they are not there and need replacing.

It would be nice to be able to use the stand without the embarrassment of being stranded because I physically could not get it off .

Only one rubber and that s on the return to park side of the stand.

There was a documented problem with early uce frames, that the cross brace, that the centre stand rests on when on the stand, was not up to the job.
The added welded on braces o strengthen it.

Thanx I will be tinkering with it and may mig bits on as suggested to hopefully improve it and my the bad back I have got trying to get it of the dam thing.
