What Paul says. If you want you can use ATF Type F in the primary and forks, I do on my Mk1 and think the primary in particular benefits but others see no improvement. I also use a Hypoid gear oil in the gearbox, the Mk1 has a bushed mainshaft sleeve which can be troublesome, and for that reason I'd use something more modern. An alternative would be multigrade with a dash of Molyslip or similar friction reducer. Whatever you do, do not use monograde in the engine! There is a group for Interceptors,
