Not started yet alone ridden the 612 for several months so decided to fire it up yesterday.

Pleased to say that in the 3rd kick it fired up.

I did fit a new Amal Premier carb to it and had issues with the starting / slow running, so I was very pleased with it starting so easily.

Just want to ride the damn thing...........

I have to say that I have been riding my bikes twice a week to go shopping. I don’t like bikes, vehicles, just standing.

Took the car out on Friday to get fresh petrol for the bike's, it did feel strange to drive after all this time,
If you take the bike's out be careful, driving standards seem to have gone down
Very little traffic on roads but people just don't seem to be looking.
Heard yesterday that someone I know has been killed when he took the bike out, don't know the full details but he was apparently hit by a car traveling in the same direction!

Take care all Dai

You've to watch for pedestrians too. They are stepping off pavements without looking to give someone walking in the other direction a wide berth.

I was on the M62 the other day. It was busy but not congested. I was doing 70 and was overtaken by a sports car doing (my estimate) 120/130. He than slalomed across all three lanes until I lost sight of him.
Completely brainless!

In more normal times, one of my biggest financial outgoings is fuel (my work commute is 90 miles). I became slightly worried a couple of days ago because I’d misplaced my wallet. I found it in my work case. I then realised I’ve not bought any fuel since early March and I’ve not actually used my debit card, either.
