Hi all, I found the previous owner of my 350 had managed to force a coarse thread nut onto the foot brake lever pivot. Obviously the thread was knackered when I pulled it apart.
So now I have a new pivot shaft and the nuts for both ends. I put it all back together but when I tighten the outer 3/8 nut it binds against the brake lever and stops it moving. I noticed that the pivot was threaded into the frame boss and then lock-nutted inside the frame so I wondered if I was supposed to adjust the length of the pivot before tightening the lock-nut to get the correct pivot length?
I can't find anything in the manual so I thought I'd ask if anyone knew?
