Just out of curiosity, this is one for our ignition experts. Can a Lucas K2F magneto be configured to spark from both HT leads simultaneously with the slip ring and the cam ring from a K1F?

This would be for a twin-plugged single cylinder engine, which I have no intention of building - for now. I gather the electronic BTH mags can be supplied like this, but what about a traditional one?

I don't know about that, Adrian, but when we returned our original 500 racer back to cafe racer road going trim, in order to make it easier to kick start with the self generating crankshaft driven electronic ignition, I also fitted an SR1 magneto with the timing fixed in a slightly retarded setting, one system going to each of the twin plugs. It certainly made it start more easily and once running, the more advanced electronic ignition 'got in there first', to ensure smooth and correctly timed running.

I remember the video of that, I was thinking about more conventional twin plugging, at least from the running point of view. Easy enough with points and a twin-spark coil, of course, but that's not er... the point. Could ONE magneto (non-CDI) provide both sparks?

It might be possible to wire it up but surely the same amount of energy for the spark would then be divided between two plugs. Electricity takes the path of least resistance so only one plug might fire, depending on how powerful the output of the magneto was.
