I have the same issues as Stinkwheel (no not those issues - just the side-stand issue!) but I don't have his ability to craft one from solid bar. If you put longer shocks on the Bullet then the centre-stand becomes useless and when using the side-stand it cants over at a worrying angle. My low effort / cheapskate solution was a generic side-stand from eBay for the princely sum of £12.99.

I had to ream out the side-stand plate to take a standard M10 bolt in place of the supplied bolt but, that aside, it all went together without a hitch. Even the spring hanger was in the right place for the Bullet spring! I could have opened up the plate to take the supplied bolt but I didn't want to do too much hacking until it's proved itself.
As you can see it fits under the swinging-arm nicely and even has a heel plate to kick it down easily. Even at 12" long it doesn't foul anything.
As you can see below my lean angle is now much nearer to upright. If you have extended the shocks then I can confirm that this cheapo stand seems to work straight out of the box and won't break the bank.
