In the greater scheme of things a £300.000 tax demand is not a great deal for a viable business, looks like the "owner" has more than one problem. Sad none the less, but I think from day one the whole venture went sour. Two acquaintances bought these thing's, which were effectively a mail order luckybag.

I think they read the market wrong. In these days of austerity trying to run a business selling £19k bikes is never going to be easy.

I agree with earlier comments about reading the market wrongly - spending £5,500 on an Interceptor is not a huge investment - and its a brilliant bike for the money - not many would disagree with that - but spending the sort of money Nortons were going for - well you can buy a really good car for that, and lets be honest - very few of us buy a bike to ride every single day - they are just hobby bikes these days and in my opinion having £5K sat in the garage is quite acceptable but 4 - 5 times that amount and I would feel a bit guilty..
