Usually when I go to motorcycle rallies Royal Enfields are as rare as rocking horse poo and unicorns.
Last weekend camped at a rally at Cotswold Airport there were three Himalayans.

I'm not surprised, its a wonderful motorbike which seems to be growing in popularity, if I am going to work ( around B roads ) - I will jump on the Himalayan over my Interceptor most days - and you don't have to clean it !

There were loads of them at last years Dragon rally, to the point I stopped going and looking at them. I expect there to be more this year.

The bike could have been designed for UK winter rallies

As suspected, a really good turnout of Himalayans and classic bullets (both Indian and Redditch) at the Dragon. Probably pushing double figures. Also one brave soul on a new interceptor.

Quite a few BMW GSs were seen lying on their sides with or without the rider under them. I bet the himalayans made it off the field unassisted.

Someone snapped a nice picture of the aftermath with my bullet sitting in the middle of it. Interesting nights camping! An even more interesting ride to get back out of North Wales. Got plenty of deep-water riding practice in, thank goodness for waterproof socks!
