On my '98 Bullet 500, what's the allowable clearance range between the kick start spindle bushing and the layshaft? I've not been able to find any specs.

I think a bit wobbly is RE standard. Flopping about plus a puddle of oily grease on the floor is possibly slightly too far gone.

You're not going to find a spec for that. It's an Enfield
