Just as a point do Kick-Start Springs have a habit of breaking or was mine just bad luck? RE Thunderbird 2003 Grey Import 3800 KM on clock! - Refitted new spring - fingers crossed all appears good!

Considering that my Lightning is 20 years old and the kickstart spring has only broken once. I'd say that it doesn't happen all that often.

My yr 2000, 500cc Bullet broke this spring years ago. Replaced it and all's been well since.
