The National Motorcycle Museum is about 30 miles west, adjacent to the NEC at Brum. Well worth a visit if you're not sick of looking at bikes by then. I've been twice and wished I had more time to do it justice on both occasions. I've not been very recently but my mother-in-law was taken there a fortnight ago on her 93rd birthday by her other daughter and son-in-law and she loved it (she used to own ride a Velocette and a Norton in the early 1940s).

I have a 1957 350 Redditch (Maroon) which is very original. Per club records engine 1949 and returned to factory by dealer (Stafford) so presumably on the shelves and RE didn't want it to go to waste. Re invigorated and installed in 1957 frame (sold new in Blackpool). Factory ledger amended accordingly. Will attempt to get there as a bit of a drive (as don't have trailer) from Cardiff but in diary. Hugh

Hello again all Bullet owners, As we are now in the year of the big birthday so to speak we need to plan, We have had suggestions to market merchandise to celebrate, possibly with profits going to the club itself or a nominated charity, my initial idea was tee shirts and baseball caps but ope to ideas and what about design ? this is our club and lets have your input please !

Wayne, are there any in-demand but currently unavailable post 1949 Bullet spares you can identify? How about a batch of those with a discrete 70th Anniversary logo laser etched on to them?
