After 31000 miles and 4 years together it's 'bye bye Bullet' and 'hello Himalayan'. Picked it up this morning and managed to put the first 100 miles on mostly dry roads while the sun shone.
Performance is pretty similar to the EFI Bullet as you would expect with similar weight and power, but I still found myself going faster everywhere as the engine revs up so much more freely, the usual REference point of vibration is totally absent and there is no 'brick wall' engine braking. Handling and suspension are brilliant - way more confidence inspiring than the Bullet, even on a first ride. Smoother fuelling helps too. Overall really pleased. I suspect classic Enfield fans will remain cynical, but I'm really chuffed with it ... so far.

Yep picked mine up this afternoon and even in terrible rain and on slippy salty roads I enjoyed every minute.
I think this will be an enjoyable bike to own.

Good ride out this morning mind you took about an hour to clean the salt off 😱
Rides very well very comfortable riding position and handles well even on the slippy diesel covered roads ggrrrr.
One thing I can't work out so far is to calibrate the compass so flashes all the time 💩 anyone worked it out?

My bike always seems to be heading north! Job for the dealer at first service, I think. First ride in the dark on the way back from a meeting. Excellent lights, bright and with a good beam pattern that lights the way and the road surface. Still finding myself going faster than I am expecting, but it feels safe and comfortable, so I'll just have to get used to going faster!
