Wheel the bike out a couple of days ago and son noticed two cracks in headlamp casting both under bug eye lights and running under lights and up towards plug section on top.bike is 1993local indian model ive had since new. Had nacelle on my 2016 b5replaced at600klm with crack near adjuster nut.
My 93 bike has had a disc brake fitted for a good few years but im not one to hammer on the brakes. Anyone else had similar problems, bit of a worry.

This can happen if you adjust the steering head bearings and forget to loosen the bottom yoke clamp bolts.

Aha, Thanks for your response Haggis. I think I made this mistake when I noticed there was a bit of play on the headstock of my 1960 Clipper and will take apppopriate action to rectify possible disastrous repercussion. Would I be right in thinking you live north of the Cheviots? I reside alternatively between Edinburgh and the Borders.

A Teri! Walkerburn is where I spend half the week. I've been to see the Jimmy Guthrie stuff in the museum.

Grand mun, I go on the Jimmy Guthrie run each year on my 1953 matchless. Good fun day. I can often be found either down by kielder, tower knowe cafe or st Mary's loch, glen cafe.
