Missed your last post while posting mine.

So you're dependent on your local engineering companies to get the existing frame repaired if it hasn't rotted too far. If there has been accident damage the frame also might need straightening. At the front end, if the bottom yoke is still OK a set of Indian Bullet forks and an Indian casquette will fit, though my comments about not wanting to use cut-down one still stand.

It would be good if the bike can still be rescued from decay without making you bankrupt or destroying your sanity, but if it is going to cost too much (I hope you didn't pay a lot to start with), don't be afraid to walk away from it and sell the other spares, or see if there's another Bullet available locally in better condition.

Thanks Adrian taking time to write your valuable feedback. i agree to your concerns thanks for raising the flag

i have two people i know locally one metal fabricator and other one run blasting company. i am going to take their opinion on the frame in couple of days.

my budget is tight like always , since raising two small kids. let see how far i can go .i want to do things on my own as much possible . and get experience and save money...

Hi Adrian is right- I recently had an OIF Triumph. The frame looked immaculate on the outside - when I removed the engine a ton of rust dust came out of the bottom engine mounting holes. I tapped the frame tubes to make sure there was none left and it just kept on coming!! be careful
