I think the tappet extractor our Hosts sell is for lndian models only. I am making one for Redditch engines at the moment. REgards, Mark

Making the tool is not that difficult, the top of the giide is threaded for a 9/16" Cycle thread nut (l think, our Hosts will know and sell you a suitable nut) You then need to weld a tube on top of the nut with a T bar across the top. Screw tool onto guide, heat crankcase half as hot as possible and pull guide out. Well that's what l'm going to do! Reverse process with hot crankcase and guide as cold as possible, kept in freezer overnight. Remember the tappet must go in from below before the guide goes in from above. I'll let you know how it goes! REgards, Mark

i understand it now. sound not too difficult. i have noted down the procedure. might take my friend help. since i dont know even welding.
