Has anyone fitted these alloy plates below in place of the tubular type supports if so how easy are they to fit. I've just ordered a set to put on my work bull if they look as good as I think they are going to a wide single seat and electrics cover will be slapped on as well when funds permit.

Does this fit my Enfield?

A pair of alloy rear mudguard/seat carriers to replace the standard rounded tubular type. English made and finished in black. These will require the drilling of 2 x 6mm holes in the mudguard. They are supplied as a full set with all required fixings.

Well I got them yesterday morning and I must say they look good & substantial and will free up the whole back end once fitted. I had look though the various parts & spacers and after a bit of head scratching worked out where each one goes. I've have not got time to put them on for a few weeks yet due to nights & shift work but once I do I will take a few photos so others can see the difference it makes to the rear end. P/s has anyone fitted one of the single seats if so which one seems to work best and most comfortable out the following two. ((First one 200081A SADDLE C/W SPRINGS AND FIXING KIT, with UK cover Large)) Or (( Second choice 92505 SINGLE SADDLE WITH FIXING KIT, SMALL ))

I got the 200081 qand fitted it. It's a nice saddle and comfortable too.. You can read how I got the job done and there's a bit of advice on fitting it..

Has anyone else purchased these? I tried to install mine yesterday, and I'm finding the space between the carrier and the mudguard on the right and left sides is not equidistant. After drilling into my fender and installing the right side carrier, I've got about a 1" gap between the spacer and the fender on the left side. These carriers are rigid, and if I try to pull the fender over to tweak it, it looks all cattywampus. Also, the bottom edge of the fender appears to be a good 5" or so from the top of the tire, and it looks kind of silly with such a large gap. Maybe it would be more aesthetically pleasing with one of those deep bathtub-style fenders? If anyone's got any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em. Also, I'd appreciate any pictures of the set-up and which hardware goes where. I found the instructions to be terribly lacking, and I'm not so sure I've got it together correctly to begin with. Thanks!
