I hope the photo works. Right, I've stripped my Connie engine with a view to eliminate persistent oil leaks etc etc & will be implementing a few changes I read in an article in the Gun, specifically "The" oil leak between the crankcase halves in the area of the rocker feed. On stripping the crankcases I found a drain in the inlet cam tunnel - I've pointed this out with the green arrow in the photo. There is also another drain at the end nearest the timing cover, pointed out in blue. Is it strictly necessary to have the drain between the crankcase halves? I ask because I've had a persistent oil weap there which drives me potty. The rocker feed (red arrow) - I intend to plug the feed to the other crankcase half (grubscrew?) and use a 1 into 4 rocker feed pipe from Hitchcocks. Whilst I am in the crankcases is there anything else I can do to make this a reliable/good Connie engine? Any help, tips, advice is greatly appreciated. Best regards Mark
