I suppose batteries are excluded from the warranty? A bit poor only lasting a year. I chose to junk the original wet cell on my C5 anyway; I didn’t fancy electrolyte on the paintwork. Who else fits wet cells these days? Still a way to go with quality control...

The old wet cell battery will have a new useful life powering an electric fence - possibly the best use for it!

Hi vijay right on about b5 crap battery avon tyres sm and speedmaster lightweight drive chain that stretch like mad. Put k81s on and jap 530hd chain. Also got bad habit of busting earth conection to battery on + side got dual seat why put a spring seat on a bike with rear shocks, rode one like jelly on wheels, but not bad once you get all the rubbish removed.

I don’t find my C5 like riding on jelly, nor did I find it the case with a Moto Guzzi Nuove Falcone I used to own. In both cases the rear springs were hard and I’m not heavy. Most cheap bikes come with springs that are too hard and damping that is too soft.
