Great video. Bromsgrove to Welshpool via Craven Arms is one of my favorite routes. Is it paper map only or are you allowed a sat nav as it will be quite an achievement with old fashioned paper maps only ?

For planning and navigation you can please yourself. I used Google Maps for the initial planning and pages of directions that I wrote myself, and I also used Google Maps on my phone during the rally, most of the time as a map and sometimes for satnav. I took a road atlas with me which I used once, but forgot to take a torch with me, hence me using the phone as a map and satnav. I could have used the phone's torch, but I don't have a power point fitted to Webley and for ease of use and time I left my DSLR camera at home, the phone being for stills and maps as required only, with comm's of course. Mind you I did have a back up battery from an older phone of the same type, which I switched to near the end of the rally. One chap saw my notes of directions and said to his mate, we should do it that way. Part III will be posted later today. Chris.
