Hi Guys

I've decided to fit a Boyer power Box to my 2002 Kick Start (500 not) Bullet

The Power box has 2 yellow wires for the alternator and a red and black pos and neg.

The power box instructions appear to be for a 3 wire alternator (join 2 wires together to one yellow wire and the third wire goes to the other yellow wire) but according to the fitting guide the box should be correct for my model / year

My alternator has 4 wires!

Help!!

The Alternator wires are Red, Orange, Yellow and Black.

Four wire alternator?

The YELLOW and ORANGE wires off the stator are the AC headlamp feed via a separate AC regulator. They are isolated from everything else.

Connect the alternator's RED and BLACK wires to one each of the Power Box YELLOW wires. The red and black wires on the Power Box are the bike's DC supply to the battery, etc. Factory alternators use two purple wires instead of red and black to connect to the AC side of the reg/rectifier, but red and black are common on pattern alternators.
