If you have disc brakes, you can get magnets that are built into the head of a disc bolt.



Of course, if you're made of money, you can get an electronic reproduction of a Smiths chronometric for about £250... Although in fairness, people pay a lot more than that for knackered real ones.

A chronometric is of course all mechanical, and if calibrated correctly will be accurate. I've managed to get a not too badly shagged couple of real ones for less than £200 each in the least year or so, which, allowing for overhaul costs, comes out about the same as going down the Puca Smiths electronic replica route. A competent overhaul/repair person can also recalibrate different speedos to suit the tyre size and speedo gearbox drive ratio (usually 2:1 on a Bullet) on your particular bike.
