Doesn't surprise me at all what some people will pay for stuff. A year or two back someone paid £500 for new old stock plug caps for a Suzuki X7. We used to bin them when the bikes were new because the were crap.

Now I understand why an old petrol tank was snapped up when I listed it a few months ago... the tank was in a bad state but had the badges attached; someone from India offered me £200, I explained the tank needed loads of work and postage would be very expensive. Buyer said forget the tank just send the badges; cant unscrew the badges I reply; send the whole lot he says.... which I did. Can someone explain: why are these badges so expensive? Madness!
