Would a bad float needle valve cause the problems I have with the bike refusing to run on choke and acting like it's running rich when it was jetted lean? Even after rebuilding with new choke plunger and o rings the engine still will not run with the choke on and the choke seems to act like a kill switch.

Actually before I change the float valve I think I will try parking the bike on the main stand and seeing if it leaks as my bike does lean over quite a bit when on the side stand due to my longer rear shocks.
