Hi KH here any advice please on the fitting of electronic ignition for my 1950 350 bullet. Can anyone help in this mine field. I have fitted to my bike a MO lucas type. Thanks

Very limited options with a Mag-dyno. Best bet would be to contact Dave Linsdley (well respected mag expert) for advice. For the money it's going to cost you might want to get the mag rebuilt! (Obviously it depends what's wrong with it first!)

I think the Thorspark ignition can be fitted into the older magneto in place of the magneto points, though I'd be tempted to get the magneto overhauled first.

Hi, I've a Thorspark fitted to the magdyno on my G(same type as on your 1950 bullet); in a nutshell it works brilliantly and i'm very happy with it. Dave Linsdley (semi retired now) can convert your magdyno to accept a modified "boyer" but the price is very expensive - I asked him last year, and fell off my chair when he told me the cost. Good things about the thorspark: price (£150ish), 5 year warranty, maintains original appearance, very low battery usage, very reliable.
