Has anyone modified their right side footpeg on the 4 speed albion gearbox? I find because of the kickstart lever sticking out my foot barely fits on the peg, it just perches on the edge which doesnt feel so good, it could do with being a bit longer.

Give Hitchcocks a call, they may be able to suggest a footrest off one of the Redditch models which should fit and is longer. The Model G perhaps? I often find that getting the relationship between the right footrest and the gear lever is awkward, never quite just right!

I find the same but haven't actually done anything about it. There is the potential to run into ground clearance issues when cornering so whatever you do, you might want to consider that as a possible issue and think about making the modification foldable. A rigid peg hitting the ground mid corner is bad news.

I think this is an Indian 350 we're talking about, cornering ground clearance may not be part of the performance envelope....

Perhaps it's the kick start lever that's in the wrong position?
You need it as high as possible but not to get in the way of your foot.

I have same issue, can only get the ball of my foot on the peg and thats only with twisting my foot towards the bike which does bugger all for my knee

at some stage i will be purchasing a kickstart lever which has the join at the bottom as well as the top so it fully folds out the way but for now I'm putting up with it

Cornering on my indian 350 is good enough for me to ride off the edge of the tyre recently which was an interesting experience i can tell you and will also hasen the change from safety mileges to AM26'S!

When ridden sensibly its quite sweet in the bends i think if the steerring a slightly light for my tastes

Even with the stop set as high as it goes without fouling the chassis and 10mm longer shocks, I have repeatedly grounded out both sides of the mainstand on my 350 bullet. That's the only thing stopping the pegs touching down. I have safety mileage/speedmaster tyres and it's why I'll be leaving the main stand off my new 612.

The footrests are handed ie the right side item is noticeably longer than the left. See the parts books
I therefore suggest that your footpegs are arseaboutface

Hi I just went out to my bike with a tape measure.

The right hand footpeg is longer it has a curved arm bring it up over the exhaust, it is just that little bit short for my boots because of how far the kickstart shaft protrudes.
