SUCCESS!! I was sticking it in the van to take it to the Scottish Bike Show, so I decided to give it a prod. It coughed a couple of times, so I loaded it up, then stuck the Interceptor in too and set off for the show. When I unloaded it at the show I decided to give it another go and boom! It fired up!! I fired it up again at the weekend and it sounds really sweet. Now I just need to insure it, take it for an MOT and then apply for a number so I can get out and drive it!
Many thanks for the advice and suggestions. I guess it just needed a bit of patience. Now to change out the Connie motor after its rebuild....

That's good news, thanks for letting us know. By the way, you don't need an MOT for the registration process after May 20th as the bike will become exempt then. (It may be already, it's been a bit confusing with the recent changes.) Good luck with it,

REgards, Mark
