Hi Chris------Yes, it's for my friend Daddy Long-legs....now there's a Blast from the past !!.......have a look at this}---- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daddy_Lon ... 1955_film) ------------- and also this }------- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brighton_ ... ic_Railway ----

Incidentally I'll be fitting the seat as rigid to start with, so if this works out ok then I'll have a set of short springs as surplus.....Would these be of any use to you as those long ones bending over on your bike look a little odd to say the least.............None of this stuff involved}-- ££ OK ??

Alan: The long springs with their bent over bracket were, of course, just an experiment, as was holding it on the bike with a nail. That would be replaced with a nut and bolt.

It went back to the original dual seat after that. I would be interested to try with shorter springs but never got round to it. Maybe you could let me know again when you've tried both ways with yours. I'd be interested to give it another go.
Many thanks, Chris

PS Regards to Daddy
