Looks good and is far more practical if your never carrying a pillion.Big question though is how comfortable is the solo seat, particularly on longer journeys.

Alan, you may need the front fixing for the rider's saddle, email me and I may be able to help!

I find the solo saddle with springs very comfortable over long distances. In terms of hours in the saddle, as comfortable as the Pan European I had a few years back. You just don't get quite as many miles for the hours you spend :-)

I've got a single saddle on my 2000 350 and a rear mudguard rack and it's not comfy

within 40 mins of sitting on it it puts too much pressure on my perineum area ( google it ) and my undercarriage goes numb, I'm a big lad ( I'll admit to 18 stone) so that may have some relevance but I also find that it makes my backside ache after a longer stretch due to lack of padding at the rear and to be honest I wish I had a duel seat on it.

in fact on one journey to the stafford bike show on the return journey it was more comfy to shift back and sit on the parcel rack itself than the seat!

That solo seat photo Alan r has posted looks bollock sore. There are other ones on the hosts accessories that look more comfy.

Best thing I ever done with my bicycle was to buy a gel seat. Now there's a thought.
