Hi Papasmurf---------- have you considered buying some shorter rear shocks ??--------Hagons do them..

Alan R I fitted a pair of shorter Hagon's within days of purchasing the bike. I have also fitted a home made low seat.
As our hosts set of softer front springs is cheap, I would like to fit a pair BUT only if they drop the front end more that the current "hard as a bullet" original fitment ones do when I sit on the bike.

I see the snow's gone then ??...........I fitted a pair of our hosts compound springs to a previous Bullet but can't say for sure if it lowered the ride height.....certainly the forks were more active judging by the shadows on the road.....and using ATF oil helped as well to give a nice, comfortable ride...No more aching shoulders after a long run...

ericpode, being vertically challenged if it is only a 1/2" that would make a big difference to me.
