I was born in the 70's. Brown wall paper, Austin Maxi's (also brown), flared trousers (brown) and your dad's music (Terry Wogan's floral dance and Mull of Kintyre anyone). Needless to say I won't be joining the nostalgia society! 😁

I think the breathalyser was introduced under Barbara Castle as far back as 1967(?) along with the 70mph limit on motorways. Andy M, you forgot the brown Honda CB500T, though at least one of our regulars is a fan of that model...

Jimi Hendrix played live at my high school. Later I had $900 and chose a like new CB750 over an old Vincent Black Shadow. John Tickle metalwork and Reg Curley fiberglass and some engine work went into the Honda. I rode with a colorful crowd and encountered famous clubs at gatherings festooned with all my favorite temptations. Lost my license from speeding tickets and survived some drama. Now I can walk into a legal store and buy cannibis of any type, but it would just make me lose my car keys.
Had the hair and beard, now gray and sparse.

I did miss quite a lot as it was the times of change for motorcycles and cars. So much so was the change that I never caught up which is why I am happier with old bikes and only the most basic of cars. Still cannot get my head round the fact that I have a button thing to lock & unlock a car. last of the Luddites that's me
