How true---how true...BUT, I'm now fast approaching another 70's..ie}---Bus passes, Arthritis, Baldness,Senility, Alas C90s still overtake me but the "Young" ladies of yesterday now have a different erm, aroma ?? than before...I have 3 points on my licence for a minor indiscretion and so am now regarded as a social criminal !!......Re-Education is the buzz-phrase, whilst my drugs although free are now prescribed just to keep me going !!....I'm not allowed to smoke or drink for genuine health reasons so Bullet riding is now my last resort to staying above ground and vertical.........Not yet Mr. G Reaper ... not yet !!!

Ah, the 1970's. Tank tops. Flairs. The 3 day week. Power cuts. The winter of discontent. The 30mph moped law. Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Relaxed approach to drink driving? I don’t think so. Breathalyser introduced in early seventies; I was one of the pioneers, together with several friends. Totally clean licence for over 40 years since though. (Reformed criminal).

Forgot to mention prog rock. Oddly enough my wife and I have just booked to see Yes Please, a tribute band. If you can’t work out what the original was called you’re senility is more advanc d than you think. BTW I wrote off a TR4 just before said law/me interface. Accountants eh? Boring lives....

Oh, and I’ve NEVER been overtaken by a C90, or a scooter. Have you no pride at all?

The petrol shortage! Who else diluted petrol with parafin? It eked out a few more miles but the engines knocked like a barsteward.

Seeing that I endurance race C90s and I just sold one that would do 70mph there is no loss of pride of being overtaken by a well rode C90.
